Description
A blade forged out of 1.2842 and 12NiCr14 steel. It's 35,5cm long and 3,5cm broad and forged up to 180layers pattern welded steel.
I'm still looking for a nice piece of wood or horn for the handle. I'm considering Snakewood, Cocobolo and Bokote at the moment. Still I am not shure which one I'll take for the handle in the end.

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactI really dig this blades overall look. It's a pretty straight forward design, but the pattern welding on this is absolutely spot the fuck on. I'm fascinated by pattern welded (sometimes mislabeled "Damascus") blades and this is one of the better I've seen in a while. The lamination is so angry! Especially near the tip of the blade.
I just hope that the finished knife as a whole gives some love to the tang area of the blade, but that it lets that blade shine like it should. Can't wait to see the finished product.
